Cyclothymic Disorder
Cyclothymic Disorder (cyclothymia) is a mild mood disorder characterized by chronic fluctuating moods involving periods of hypomanic symptoms and periods of depressive symptoms. These mood swings are less severe than those seen in bipolar disorder but last for at least two years. Many people with cyclothymia may eventually develop full bipolar disorder if left untreated.

- Mood instability for at least 2 years
- Never symptom-free for more than 2 months
- Significant impairment in social or work functioning
