Gambling Disorder is a behavioral addiction characterized by persistent and recurrent problematic gambling behavior that leads to significant distress or impairment. Individuals may gamble with increasing amounts to achieve excitement, become restless when trying to stop, and continue despite financial or relationship problems. It is the only behavioral addiction formally recognized in the DSM-5 alongside substance use disorders.
